Let's be honest, rubber duckies are hard to come by in the office but maybe that needs to change. Why? It turns out they might be pretty good at debugging code. Ostensibly, another developer of the human being type would likely be the best resource when you're stumped on a problem, but having been in plenty of situations facing a seemingly illogical bug with no prospect of a remedy, deadlines approaching, and no one around to help, even talking to a stapler is better than nothing.
In fact there are many different ways developers 'deal with debugging'. Just take a look at a sampling at stackoverflow.com and see for yourself. What are yours?
Title: I appreciate the gesture, but I was talking to you all along.
Snarky: The stapler? It's so you don't look silly talking to yourself all the time. I call it 'Office Supply Debugging'.
