The increasing popularity of co-working spaces is a trend that I find doesn't translate so well into large organizations, particularly if the motivating factor for incorporating the ideas of 'collaborative workspaces' is about saving money. It's easy to quantify cost savings on the ever shrinking physical space per employee, but when it must be balanced against the much less quantifiable concept of "productivity" I wonder, at the end of the day, how much of those savings actually materialize.
Title:We're not getting that foosball table are we?
Snarky: I don't think this is what people envisioned when they asked for more "collaborative spaces" in the office.
I think you needed to try your hand at drawing a foosball table. You have a crowded work area theme lately. Feeling constrained at work?
