Who's the leg?

Snarky: When whale hunting, you have to cultivate the perception that you have more resources.
Title: Who's the leg?

I'm not so sure this Snarky makes any sense if you're not familiar with whale hunting in the business sense, or Moby Dick in the literature sense.  It was Captain Ahab who lost his leg to the great white whale and spent the rest of his life tracking it with tragic consequences.  Nothing like humor your have to explain.

I considered a few other titles:

• Did we have to give "them" the new computers.
• Why are their openings above us on the org chart?
• It's good we work for Potemkin, Inc.

That last one is almost as obtuse as a captain Ahab joke.  You'd have to know a bit of history instead and how a village was set up to fool Catherine II.  I like the associated list of (semi) modern examples, although it doesn't include the inflatable tanks used to fool the Germans in WWII.
